Blogging

I was just watching last week's episode of the office, and the commercial was for twix. The guy is flirting with a "political girl" and asks her back to his apartment. When she gets offended, he eats the twix to have enough time to come up with the excuse that he wanted them to blog together. Now I feel silly about blogging. I just wanted an excuse to have everyone read about what I do for five months. It will only be mildly interesting because of the whole not being in America thing, which I personally find quite exciting.


Anyway, I'm not, as the title would suggest, in Amsterdam yet. I just got home from school this weekend, and I'm already anxious to get going again. There are a lot of things that I need to do before I can go. Yesterday, we had this online meeting with other people going on the program and staff in Amsterdam. It was pretty informative, and it made the experience that much more real. I don't leave to Europe for five weeks, which sounds like forever!
I don't know how much I will be writing before I even leave, but this was really just to see how the blog looks. I hope you stay mildly interested in my life.
